Are you seeking support and connection with others who understand your experiences? Our Monthly Support Group provides a safe and confidential space for women in the Metro Vancouver area who at risk and/or have faced violence or abuse, including emotional, physical, sexual, and financial. Whether you are currently experiencing abuse, at risk of abuse, or have lived experiences of abuse in the past, this group is here to support you in your journey towards healing and strength.

What You Can Expect from the Women’s Support Network:
- Find a supportive community: Connect with other women who understand the challenges you’ve faced and share your experiences in a safe and confidential environment. The bond you form with fellow participants can provide a strong support system that helps you navigate through difficult times.
- Build resilience: Through shared stories and peer support, you can develop coping mechanisms to navigate difficult situations. The solidarity within the group fosters resilience, helping you rebuild your inner strength and move forward with confidence.
- Learn valuable skills: Our experienced facilitators will guide you through workshops and discussions to help you develop healthy relationships and effective strategies for self-care. These sessions are designed to equip you with practical tools and strategies to overcome obstacles and thrive. Topics may include boundary setting, self-compassion practices, and assertive communication techniques.
- Access essential resources: We provide information and resources to connect you with additional support services and empower you to make informed decisions. Whether you need legal assistance, counseling, financial support, or referrals to community resources, we’re here to help you access the resources you need to rebuild your life.
This group is:
- Confidential: Your privacy is paramount, and everything shared within the group remains confidential.
- Open to self-identified women: We welcome all women, regardless of background or identity, to join our supportive community.
- Facilitated by experienced professionals: Our facilitators are trained professionals with expertise in trauma-informed care and support services.
Together, we can create a space for healing, connection, and mutual support. Join us on the last Wednesday of every month and take the first step towards reclaiming your life.
