Join us for our Technology for Seniors workshop series, designed specifically to help seniors feel comfortable and confident with digital tools. Our Modern Technology for Everyday Use sessions introduce seniors to essential apps and online services that can simplify daily tasks, enhance communication, and support independence. Whether you’re new to technology or want to deepen your skills, this series provides easy-to-follow guidance and hands-on practice.
Each week, our instructors cover new topics in simple, easy-to-follow steps that encourage seniors to use technology confidently. Here’s an overview of our upcoming sessions:

On December 13, seniors will explore Google Maps and the Transit app to make getting around Surrey and beyond simpler. This session will cover trip planning, transit schedules, and using GPS for easy navigation.
On December 20, discover how ChatGPT can help solve daily problems, answer questions, and provide quick solutions. This session is an exciting introduction to AI, tailored to meet the needs of seniors.
On January 3, seniors will receive guidance on creating a personal Gmail account and setting up their CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) account. This workshop ensures safe and secure management of email and government services online.
