At Collingwood Days, you’ll have the chance to engage with our vibrant senior community and participate in a variety of enjoyable activities. Our Seniors Program is designed to foster connection, creativity, and wellness among seniors. Below are the details of the activities and performances scheduled for the day:

Seniors Activities on Collingwood Days 2024 Schedule:
- 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Tai Chi with Jim and Ann
- 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Knitting with Love with Fen, Pauline, and Mrs. Wong
- 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: A Taste of Chinese Cultural Art
- Chinese Painting with Bill
- Chinese Calligraphy with Daniel
- Paper Cutting Art with Rui
- 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Line Dance with Loretta
Program Descriptions:
- Tai Chi with Jim & Ann: Explore the health benefits of Tai Chi! Practice Ba Duan Jin, Taijiquan 24 Forms, and 42 Forms. The stretching exercises will strengthen muscles and improve endurance for seniors.
- Knitting with Love: Learn basic knitting with Fen and the teachers at the MOSAIC Knitting Club. Try your hand at creating a simple hairband, scarf, cutie bear, and more.
- A Taste of Chinese Art: Discover the beauty of Chinese art through calligraphy, painting, and paper cutting. Build resilience and find joy in these traditional practices.
- Line Dance with Loretta: Get active with dance lovers! Boost your physical, mental, and emotional well-being in a fun and engaging way.
