MOSAIC is a registered charity having served immigrant, newcomer, and refugee communities in BC for close to 50 years. Supported by a board of directors, the organization manages a $50 million plus budget annually with more than 500 staff, 470 volunteers and 300+ contractors. Services are delivered from 41 client-accessible sites.

MOSAIC’s Board of Directors is responsible for setting the overall strategy and the overall oversight of the organization.

The Board of Directors meets 6 times per year. Board Members are also expected to serve on Board Committees and attend key organizational events. All of our Board and Committee members are volunteers.
Board of Director Term Length and Hours
The Board term is two years, renewable upon re-election by the MOSAIC membership, up to 6 consecutive years, unless otherwise specified or requested. The approximate time commitment required from Board Members is 8 – 10 hours every other month.
